Waiter Training Programme – full-time and part-time options available.
Amaya- Belgravia/ Knightsbridge (Tube Piccadilly Line) - Michelin Star restaurant.
Situated in the heart of exclusive Belgravia, it uniquely presents the sophisticated grills of India infused with subtle complex flavours, cooked in a theatrical open kitchen & surrounded by dramatic interiors.
This position is suitable for a charismatic individual who is eager to learn everything about the Waiter`s position in a fine dining environment and learn about food and wine. Previous experience in the hospitality sector is a bonus, but not essential.
You are not required to be knowledgeable about Indian food, but you must be curious and be willing to invest time and attention to learn about it. The training for this position takes a minimum of 2 months, and you will be required to take an exam prior to leading your section without the help of your “buddy” and be ready to fly solo as a Waiter/Waitress.
This is a permanent role, and we are looking for commitment as we are offering a pay band increase after the successful completion of the training. The training will take place during lunchtime hours, so you will be required to be available during the day until completion of the programme in order to join the evening team.
As a Trainee Waiter/Waitress, you will:
Be committed to delivering a high level of service
Have excellent communication skills in English
Have an immaculate and individual appearance
Be prepared to work a mixture of day and evening shifts and also weekends.
Why work for us?
Please note:
You must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to commute.
