Ready to Step Up as a People & Culture Leader for Some of London’s Most Iconic Restaurants?

We’re searching for an inspiring and accomplished People & Culture Manager to lead the HR and people strategy for three prestigious Mayfair restaurants – Amazonico, Bar des Prés, and Gattopardo – and help shape an exceptional workplace culture across the group.

From the vibrant spirit of Latin America at Amazonico to the refined Parisian elegance of Bar des Prés and the modern Italian sophistication of Gattopardo, each venue delivers a unique and world-class dining experience. Behind each one is a team of passionate hospitality professionals — and that’s where you come in.

We’re seeking a talented People & Culture Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-end environments and is ready to drive engagement, champion our values, and ensure our teams are supported, developed, and inspired.

About Working with us

At Amazonico, Bar des Prés, and Gattopardo, you’ll be part of a diverse family of hospitality professionals who are bold, creative, and united by a shared love for excellence.

Our culture is rooted in:

  • Diversity, Equity & inclusion—we celebrate difference and ensure everyone has a voice and space to grow.
  • Sustainability – We actively reduce our impact through initiatives like our partnership with SKOOT – https://skoot.eco/amazonico
  • Growth & Progression – From new openings to internal promotions, you’ll have opportunities across the UK and globally.
  • Team Connection – From team celebrations to development programmes, we support and uplift one another.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Global career progression with opportunities for high performers to support new openings in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and beyond
  • Opportunities to expand your skills with the support of experienced senior leaders
  • Internal training and succession plans for rapid promotion
  • Education rewards
  • Access to Perkbox and a range of discounts with well-known brands
  • Refer-a-friend bonuses
  • Staff meals (2 x per day)
  • Flexible working scheme & 28 days of holiday per year
About the Role – What You’ll Do

As
People & Culture Manager, you’ll lead the HR and people agenda across all three venues, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent while maintaining compliance and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

You will:

  • Partner with GMs and senior leaders to drive engagement and retention strategies
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure the best possible start for every team member
  • Lead employee relations, providing advice and solutions that align with our values and UK employment law
  • Deliver initiatives that promote diversity, wellbeing, and career development
  • Support performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, compliant, and consistently applied
  • Champion our culture and act as an ambassador for our people-first approach
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a People & Culture Manager or Senior HR role in a premium or luxury hospitality environment
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels, from front-of-house teams to senior directors
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • A hands-on, approachable style combined with strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for people development and creating a positive workplace culture
