Job Functions:

• Reports to work on time and prepared for the shift
• Follows all Image and Appearance standards
• Monitors product supply and replenishes stock when necessary
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and storage racks, etc
• Communicates with chefs and managers of low product levels and equipment problems
• Removes dishes, glassware and silverware from bus tubs to prepare for cleaning
• Communicates with other Team Members to prioritize which dishes, pans, etc. need to be cleaned first
• Ensures that dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen items are clean and sanitized
• Sorts clean silverware, glassware and dishes
• Ensures that clean supplies are available at all times
• Organizes and straightens dry storage and walk-in refrigerator
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations, utensils, floors, floor mats, dumpsters, and equipment
• Transports boxes and trash bags from kitchen, dish area, etc., to dumpsters
• Distributes trash cans to kitchen, dish area, etc.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and other areas
• Assist Chef in portioning, prepping, an cooking as needed
• Assists other employees as needed
• Demonstrate a helpful, positive attitude at all times to guests and employees
• Understand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
• Provide complete and timely communication to other employees throughout the shift
• Is prepared to conduct weekly maintenance duties
• Complete all assigned tasks and duties requested by managers
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Food handling certificate required
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
• Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Able to tolerate prolonged exposure to cold and hot temps (below 40° F and above 140° F)
• Able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environment
• Able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals several times throughout shift.
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
