About Us:

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor. As a Supervisor at Angus Steakhouse, you will play a key role in leading and inspiring our service team to deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure smooth operations during each shift. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures, including setting up and closing down equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and securing the premises
  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff on proper service standards, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Give knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests' tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service flow
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize revenue
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including POS systems and inventory management
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
