Head Waiter  - Annabel’s

40 - 48  hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and charismatic Head Waiter to join the team of our stunning private dining rooms in Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square, part of The Birley Clubs. 

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and is home to five restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon. A team of world-class Chefs, Sommeliers and Mixologists have designed an outstanding array of menus, cocktail and wine lists. Expertly sourced, seasonal ingredients, wines and spirits are brought together using traditional and subversive techniques to create truly unique dining and drinking experiences.   

As Head Waiter you will be responsible for liaising with the managers, floor team and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. You will supervise the junior members of the floor team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards within a timely manner.

We are ideally looking for candidates who: 

  • Have previous experience in a similar role within a busy, private members’ club or high quality restaurant environment 

  • Have an excellent understanding of all areas within a restaurant  

  • Are excellent team players with a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude 

  • Develop good relationships with members and knowledge of their tastes and preferences 

  • Have experience of Fourth and EPOS systems desirable  

  • Have strong communication skills 

  • Are passionate about food and keen to develop their knowledge on the menu, wine and cocktail lists 

  • Have a WSET qualification desirable but not essential
