Annabel’s 46 Berkeley Square

We are looking for experienced and charismatic Maître d’s to join the team of our stunning private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and includes restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon, spread across four spacious floors. The nightclub is located in the basement of the townhouse and pays homage to the decadent essence and abundant energy of the original Annabel’s. Outside on the terrace, an enchanting restaurant garden offers year round dining. The dining options are extensive and focus on the finest quality ingredients, seasonality and creativity.

As Maître d’ you will be working within the Maître d’ Team, ensuring that the highest levels of service are provided to all of our members and their guests. You will be responsible for greeting and seating our members and taking reservations over the telephone. You will be highly effective at building relationships with our members and their guests and understanding their preferences to then effectively communicate to the front to house team pre and during service. You must be a confident and engaging communicator who can build relationships with members and ensure they only have a positive experience while in the Club.

We are looking for Maître d’s who have:
• Previous experience in a Maître d’ role within a private members club or busy, high profile, high quality restaurant
• Have a genuine passion for creating an excellent guest experience
• Impeccable appearance, an engaging personality and the ability to remain calm at all times
• Have the ability to multi task and effectively react to changing guest needs
• Be a natural and confident communicator both face to face and on the telephone
• Be organised and motivated and see tasks through to completion.
• Possess an excellent command of the English language.
• Be an excellent team player with good administration skills
• Previous experience of ResDiary, or similar booking system, is highly desirable
• A keen interest in the theatre, arts, current affairs and politics is desirable.
