Goods Receiver
Description
We are looking for an experienced full time Goods Receiver to join the team at Annabel’s private members club, part of the Birley Group.
The Birley Group encompasses some of London’s finest private members clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets all based in Mayfair. Arguably one of London’s most iconic members clubs founded in 1963, Annabel’s is the only one of its kind; a members-only dancing and dining club offering sophisticated entertainment and excellent food in the heart of Mayfair.
As Goods Receiver you will be accepting goods and deliveries for the private members club and then distributing appropriately across the departments. As Goods Receiver you will check the quality, prices, weights and specification of all deliveries to make sure they meet the club requirements whilst reporting all discrepancies to the Stock Controller and Senior Manager on Duty. You will also ensure that the Back of House store areas are kept tidy and organised.
The ideal candidate will:
• Currently be a Goods Receiver in a busy restaurant, club or hotel environment
• Have good numeracy skills and be organised and methodical at work
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is essential
• Be an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
