We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to assist our team. You’ll be friendly, hardworking, and have excellent time-keeping skills that enable you to prioritize under pressure.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment to cleanliness, you’ll find yourself in a supportive group of likeminded people with a shared outlook on life, where friendship, connection, flexibility, variety and challenge make every working day worthwhile.

Our commitment to our staff is reflected in our exceptional working environment - one that promotes a work-life balance, professional development, and plenty of opportunities for growth.

As our Restaurant Supervisor you’ll be:

  • Carrying out other duties as required to the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Management
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene to the standard required by the hotel and by law
  • Ensuring full refuse bags are removed and replaced promptly, and that full swing bins are removed and replaced immediately, as well as clearing any spillages
  • Cleaning the floor area daily and at the Chef’s discretion
  • Sweeping and cleaning the corridors and passageways through the kitchen
  • Washing crockery, cutlery and ensuring that work surfaces are clean and tidy
  • Cleaning all pots in the pot wash area, and maintaining cleanliness of the area
  • Helping with any preparation needed for daily service
  • Assisting the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen and back of house areas
  • Maintaining an organised, clean and safe workplace for all
  • Correctly recording all waste in the appropriate method (no member of staff is to remove any item without first checking with a supervisor and completing the kitchen wastage book)

The skills you’ll be sharing with us:

  • A flexible attitude to working hours and variable shift patterns
  • An interest and passion for the food industry
  • Guest service orientated
  • Experience in a similar role
  • High attention to detail
  • Team motivated
