The Chartered Manager Degree apprenticeship is a three-year commitment to study. It includes one paid day a week on campus during term-time and working four days a week in the business. Classes are held at the Ambleside Campus of the University of Cumbria.
 
A degree apprenticeship combines degree level education with on-the-job training helping you to develop your management expertise while you work. This alternative university route has tuition fees covered by Another Place and government funding.  
 
The position will include a varied role in all departments across the hotel over the three-year period with exciting roles available once your course is complete from supervisory to managerial level.

We would be looking to start this role on the 01 September. The role would be for 40 hours per week, to include one day on campus.

Essential requirements:

• Team player
• Calm under pressure
• Responsible
• Good communicator
• Entry to the course requires evidence of successful study at Level 3, A-Level, or equivalent. English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) grade 4 (C) or higher are also expected
• Appropriate industry experience that demonstrates a range of knowledge, skills and behaviours appropriate to the degree
• Be a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course
• Have left full-time education when the apprenticeship starts
• Be at least 18 years old, but there is no upper age limit
• Right to work in the UK
• Own transport is essential
