We are on the lookout for superstar Managers of the future to join our iconic business which currently boasts sites across Manchester as well as Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds. There are also more on the way to as we look to expand so there is no better time to get on board.
Previous leadership experience within hospitality is required however this does not necessarily have to be in an Assistant Manager role, if you were a strong Supervisor or Team Leader this should not stop you from applying for this opportunity to join Archie’s, if you can demonstrate a can-do, level headed-customer focused attitude and willingness to learn we’ll teach you the rest… no one else does it the Archie’s way anyway!
As an Assistant Manager you will work closely with the General manager and the rest of the management team to help grow sales and deliver profit. An Assistant Manager’s role within any Archie’s store is to stand in for the General Manager as required, lead from the front and create the best possible experience for our customers in terms of atmosphere, vibrancy and cleanliness.

Pay: £25,000 - £28,000
Contractual Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Mancheser
Assistant Managers will be expected to work shift patterns that include late evenings and weekends.

An Assistant Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining high levels of productivity, food and customer-service standards.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and be experience in a fast paced hospitality environment. Applicants should be confident in managing both front and back of house. It is important that you are confident in overseeing the main floor, to encourage upselling, checking-in with customers to obtain feedback and balance seating capacity during varying levels of trade. Back of house management experience is also important as you will be playing an active role in Health & Safety and food hygiene practices. As an Assistant Manager at Archie’s you will also be assisting in the recruitment of both back and front team members, set work schedules and organise the team.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure operations run smoothly and customers have a superb experience while visiting Archie’s.
All Managers are required to undergo a DBS which will be processed at the offer stage.
