Security Team Member – 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Ardencote

We are looking for a reliable, professional and approachable Security Team Member to help keep our guests, colleagues and property safe and secure.

What you’ll be doing

As part of our Security team, you will:

• Carrying out security duties to a high standard, ensuring the safety of the colleagues and estate
• Monitoring all vehicles entering and leaving the property
• Conducting regular inspections of hotel grounds and buildings, reporting any issues promptly
• Responding quickly and professionally to any security matters, always following established procedures
• Liaising with our appointed external security partners when required, including out-of-hours support
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance to help keep our facilities in excellent condition
• Assisting with some light gardening and general duties as needed
• Maintaining accurate security records and update digital task lists
• Ensuring the security office remains clean, organised and secure
• Communicating clearly across departments using radio systems where required
• Working closely with the Security Supervisor and wider team to ensure smooth operational procedures
• Providing cover and support for colleagues during periods of annual leave and sickness absence to ensure continuity of service.  

This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, ensuring minimal disruption.

Health & Safety

At Barons Eden, safety is everyone’s responsibility. You will:

• Follow all Health & Safety, Fire and Security procedures
• Use PPE as required
• Adhere to COSHH and hygiene regulations where applicable
• Ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations at all times

Additional Information

• Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends and bank holidays
• 35 hours per week 
• Various shifts as the business requires. Typical Shift Pattern: 0700hrs – 1800hrs
