A bit about what you will do...  

The Food and Beverage Chef De Rang assists the manager and supervisors to deliver service standards, maintain quality equipment and is consistent in product presentation and service. Will be required to support other operational areas as business requires. This position must always remain flexible regarding working hours and shift patterns, which may differ according to business demands.

  • Carry out all opening duties, ensuring the restaurant is clean and tables are properly set.
  • Prepare waiter stations and polish crockery for service readiness.
  • Study menus and beverages ahead of briefing to stay informed.
  • Support supervisors and team members, especially during busy periods.
  • Maintain high standards of table setup and cleanliness throughout service.
  • Serve dishes promptly and explain them clearly to guests.
  • Deliver professional fine dining service to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Report any guest complaints immediately to the supervisor or manager.
  • Complete all closing tasks, leaving no mess behind for the next shift.
  • Restock fridges and wine cellar, and accurately record beverage and linen usage.
