A bit about what you will do...  

As a senior waiter at Fairmont Windsor Park, you will assist the restaurant manager to ensure a smooth and effective running of the Food & Beverage outlet. You are the strategic service expert, assisting in maintaining and improving the Fairmont Windsor Park standards of operations and manage and develop yourself and your team. Your responsibility is to support the seamless running of the restaurant and bar by providing a highly efficient and effective service of the F&B products to the highest standards. You must consistently strive to improve guest and staff satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility 

  • Lead and deliver consistently high-quality service across all F&B outlets, ensuring guest expectations, brand standards, and operational excellence are met.
  • Support service delivery through effective staff supervision, daily briefings, coordination across departments, and proactive management of guest feedback and complaints.
  • Assist in developing and implementing service improvements, promotions, and revenue-generating initiatives in line with business objectives.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock management, cash handling procedures, and ensure compliance with POS, billing, and financial standards.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and company policies.
  • Support the restaurant manager in building, training, and developing a high-performing team through coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and commitment to high service standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Confident and professional communication with guests and colleagues, including VIPs and special-attention guests.
  • Solid understanding of POS systems, cash handling, and financial procedures.
  • Experience in a similar F&B supervisory or assistant role within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • High energy, stamina, and resilience with a positive, team-player attitude.
  • Professional appearance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to brand standards and operational excellence.
