A bit about what you will do...  

• The Garden Supervisor in our team maintain the hotel grounds to the highest standards, leading and contributing to the overall well-being and relaxation of guests in our luxurious hotel.
• Develop and implement planned maintenance programmes to ensure all external areas across the maintained portfolio are kept to a high standard.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of gardeners and grounds maintenance staff.
• Ensure full compliance with all risk assessments and safe systems of work relating to grounds maintenance activities.
• Carry out daily checks of all work equipment, including inspections for damage or defects and checks of fuel, oil and water levels.
• Identify, record and request materials and supplies required for gardening and landscaping tasks.
• Undertake daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections of grounds maintenance vehicles and equipment.
• Regularly inspect and ensure the correct use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Carry out a wide range of landscaping and grounds maintenance duties, including planting, pruning, lawn cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, jet washing, weeding, leaf and litter clearance, and external timber treatment and painting.
• Apply weed control, fertilisers and specialist treatments (PA1 & PA6 certified) and monitor the overall health and condition of tree stock.
