A bit about what you will do...  

The Meeting & Event Operations Manager will execute events while ensuring that all logistics requirements are carried out according to the event plans and BEOs. You will manage the event plans and works closely with other departments to ensure that all operational requirements of the events are fulfilled.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the logistical aspects of all events, from concept to execution
  • Develop and monitor event budgets, ensuring operations remain within financial constraints and promoting cost-effective solutions. 

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure services, finalize contracts, and manage relationships. 
  • Supervise and manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, resolving issues promptly and ensuring smooth operations. 
  • Manage and motivate event staff and volunteers, provide clear operational guidance, and support team leaders. 
  • Ensure all events adhere to necessary health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Conduct meetings with clients to understand objectives, address concerns, and maintain client satisfaction. 
  • Conduct thorough evaluations after events to assess success, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements.

  • Very strong communication skills and an excellent standard of written and spoken English. 
  • Ability to take initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last-minute changes. 
  • Strong attention to detail. A smart and professional appearance. 
  • Most of all, you have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
  • Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.
