Our five-star hotel includes 453 bedrooms, a diverse dining selection, spa facilities, state of the art conference and meeting rooms including the UK largest pillar-free ballroom. 

A bit about what you will do...  

The Engineering Coordinator will perform administrative activities to support the Engineering department including Chief and Assistant Chief Engineer.

Other duties include -

  • Ensure all hotel services, systems, fixtures & fittings are maintained in perfect working condition
  • Monitor the effectiveness of planned preventive maintenance schedules 
  • Ensure all defects are corrected promptly
  • Conduct servicing and the systematic checking of all hotel areas
  • Carry out quality checks on both the planned and reactive maintenance work carried out by the Engineers.
  • Liaise across departments to ensure the availability of rooms in advance of planned maintenance
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss departmental issues and progress with PPM
  • To be aware of and implement all company & statutory legal requirements including: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene & Electricity at Work

  • Capable to work in a busy environment.
  • Passionate, ambitious, hardworking and who take genuine interest about providing a thoughtful and generous service.
  • This job often requires: Carrying, lifting pushing and/or pulling items, frequently standing up and moving about the hotel, frequently handling objects, and equipment, and frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
