Finance Analyst

Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week
Salary up to £53,000 depending on experience.
As a Finance Analyst you will work under the direction of our Business Controllers across Somerset and London. You will assist with the overall month-end process, support in the preparation of budget and forecast reviews, and assist with weekly reporting.
What you'll do
- Business Controller Assist processing and checking of payroll and working with the People Team. Maintain a system of controls over all accounting transactions but with particular importance of sales, costs of sales and staff. Ad hoc projects and analysis as required to support s.
- Debt Collection and Receipts Reconciliation. Take Accounts reconciliation. Weekly postings and reconciliation of payments received. Balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure that all Daily/Monthly financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Calculating and Posting of Sales including breakdown of VAT and Tronc (Tips). Full management and maintenance of Trial Balance including Prepayment/Accrual and Accounts Payable and receivable schedules.
- Be flexible and willing to travel to offices in London and Somerset to ensure a cohesive team working environment and encourage a smooth flow of information processing as a result.
- Liaise with the Events team to ensure all invoices are raised on a timely basis and providing weekly deposit reconciliation. Issue or confirm Sales Invoices for completed Stays/Events.
- Journal posting to support Month End process. Support the Business controllers around Month end duties, Budget and Forecasting and Annual Audits. Assist in the production of monthly Management Accounts.
