Description

Purpose of the Role

 

As Marketing Assistant, your role is to provide first hand ideas and creativity to the Company Brand. You will provide support to both venues, to help ensure they remain successful and dominate the local area, with the use of fun and interactive social media posts, current and relevant social campaigns, and collating and utilising data to target the correct audience at the right times! You will always be ahead of the game, ensuring we market upcoming events and continue to lead within the Industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Social Media:

·       Develop innovative, creative and targeted marketing activity across predominately Facebook, Tiktoc and Instagram daily, ensuring that content is different

·       Drive for innovation across all channels to produce market leading campaigns

·       Push to increase engagement, likes, follows etc in order to drive our organic reach

 

E-Newsletters / Blogs:

·       Develop regular monthly newsletters promoting the venues, minimum of 1 per venue per month

·       Create a monthly blog per venue in order to enhance our brand strength

 

Website Content:

·       Ensure websites are up to date with regards imagery, menus, offers / promotions and amend as and when required

 

Venue POS:

·       Ensure venues POS is current and up to date when in venues

·       Explore options for improving our venue POS

·       Liaise with designers on POS production, menu creation etc ready for GM or Ops sign off

·       Liaise with printer for delivery of artwork

 

Partnerships:

·       Work with our partners to expand our consumer reach

·       Mercedes Benz or Poole & Smart of Poole are key and we need to look at enhancing that relationship, via newsletter inclusion, venue POS inclusion, venue brand presence etc

·       The Gallery at Arts University Bournemouth at Westbeach and their art wall is a key aspect to drive

·       Charitable link with Julia’s House for Aruba to be promoted

·       Charity for Westbeach TBC

 

Customer Loyalty / Promotions:

·       Review constantly our app to help drive customer loyalty and increase app sign ups for both venues

·       Look at ways of encouraging repeat visits via the app

·       Perform market research into what our competitors are doing well and how we can ensure our offers, promotions and loyalty are on par or better than our competitors

Adverts / External Promotions:

·       Review External Adverts and viability of them

·       Produce artwork briefs for designers to complete artwork

 

General Role:

·       Ensure that delivery of all creative, media, and digital plans are on brief and within budget

·       Measure and evaluate campaigns, share learnings and optimise for future activity

·       Support a culture of collaboration and integration, working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met

·       Keeping abreast of what is happening in the local community, and be pro-active to get ahead of market changes, local developments and seasonal events

·       To be the ambassador for marketing the company and brand

·       Maintain an accurate marketing database

·       Work closely with our venues and make regular visits, being the face of marketing, ensuring you provide a marketing presence.

·       Monitor review sites and assist managers with responding to positive & negative reviews

·       Ensure all offers/promotions/events etc are communicated to staff members
