We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Sales & Events Agent to join the sales Office & Events Management Team on the Ashford Castle Estate.

The role will include:

Guest Awareness, the Sales & Events department is the guest’s first experience of Ashford Castle’s service ethos, in addition, the guest expectation from such a hotel is exceptionally high.

  • Taking reservations over the phone and by email from individual guests and also for social events.
  • Booking dinner reservations and activities for guests as part of a group.
  • Anticipate any other possible needs they may have and make suggestions.

Sales/promotions 

  • To follow up with any enquiries and ensure guest receives relevant information within 24 hrs of enquiry.
  •  To avail of all opportunities to promote facilities of the estate.
  • Assist Events Management with admin duties, updating Rooming lists, Weekly forecasts.
  • To complete knowledge of the hotel and the products and services it offers.


The ideal candidate will have

  • Have previous experience in a 4/5 star hotel in the Sales Office department.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Forbes 5* standards. 
  • Strong at listening & taking direction.
  • Passion for hospitality and a friendly guest focused approach. 
  • Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
  • Multi tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrates excellent competency skills, is able to carry out tasks to the required standard consistently
  • To have complete knowledge of the hotel and the products and services it offers.
