Marketing and Communications Manager
Description
Austin Proper Hotel & Residences is seeking a Marcom Manager. This 32-story modern high-rise will include 244 rooms and a limited collection of 99 branded luxury residences and penthouse for sale. Amenities include two rooftop pools, wellness center and spa and three food & beverage destinations driven by McGuire Moorman Hospitality.
Qualifications
The Marcom Manager will oversee the daily operations of the marketing and communication function for both internal and external messaging. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years hospitality related experience and previous hotel marketing and communications experience in a luxury or lifestyle property. They will help to develop, implement, and execute the hotel’s marketing strategies to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. Strong local market knowledge is required as well as a solid foundation in communications, public relations and strategic digital marketing. Excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational and presentation skills are required. The position will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Education
B.A. Degree desired.
