The
Public Area Attendant delivers excellent customer service at all times and
creates personable and memorable experiences for guests. In addition, the Public
Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest and
colleague public spaces in accordance with guidelines.
Job Overview
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the public
areas of the hotel and provide service to guests in a friendly, professional
and efficient manner
• Responds to cleanliness requests and
provides replenishing of items when needed
• Cleans back-of-house areas as well as
providing items or assistance to hotel colleagues
• Maintains inventory for public area and
informs Supervisors when inventory is low
• Consistently monitors public spaces to
ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel
• Perform all duties in accordance with brand
standards and with emphasis on meeting guest expectations
•
Performs other duties requested by Supervisors
Qualifications
• Previous Housekeeping experience in a luxury
or lifestyle hotel
• Proactive attitude with strong
organizational and time management skills
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of
guest information
• Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work
shift duties that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills
Education
High school diploma preferred.
