JOB SUMMARY:

Deal games in a professional and courteous manner; compute payable odds to pay winning wagers and collect losing wagers.  Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the game.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Proficient in dealing Craps

  • Assist guests with monetary and chip transactions at the table.

  • Verify fills and credits as necessary as well as chip counts.  

  • Notify supervisor of any irregularities on his her assigned table to maintain game protection.

  • Maintain integrity of the game by protecting equipment.

  • Responsible for game protection by making sure all players are not violating any gaming rules or Colorado Gaming Laws.

  • Responsible for dealing a fast game.

  • Required to have accuracy dealing games as well as proper pay outs.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience:

  • Proficient in dealing Craps.

  • Prior casino or dealing experience preferred. (Willing to Train)


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Colorado Gaming License.


Equipment Directly Used

  • Dice (serial #)

  • Stick, On/Off Button, Lay/Buy button

  • Cash/Chips.

  • Toke Box 


Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional while under pressure.

  • Ability to function as part of a team.

  • Basic computer, reading and writing skills.

  • Communication skills that contribute to a smooth working relationships with players and staff.


Physical Requirements

  • Sitting 80% of the shift as Box person.

  • Standing 100% of the shift as dealer.

  • Walking 90% of the shift as Floor Manager or Pit Supervisor.

  • The ability to regularly balance, grasps, hears and reaches.

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.


Work Environment:


The employee is regularly exposed to a loud, high energy, congested environment.
