We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bartender to join our team here at BEBEME Mayfair. We at BEBEME serve wine in an innovative way that combines sustainability, heritage and quality! We’re the latest addition, located inside the unique Mercato Metropolitano sustainable food market.

Guest engagement is at the core of our service here at Bebeme and you’ll be at the forefront. You’ll need to be able to make recommendations based off the customer’s preferences, explain the productions methods and ethos of our wines.

What we offer

• £12.50 per hour plus (estimated £2 extra per hour in service)
• 33 days of holiday per year (pro-rated) including bank holidays
• Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.
• A nest pension scheme after 3 months
• Meals included per shift.
• Up to 10 days paid company sick pay on probation completion.

• Basic Food Hygiene, Food Hygiene Level 2, Allergens and Health and Safety.

• Previous experience in bartending 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Competently use EPOS Systems
• Qualified in WSET Level 2 or above
• Passionate about wine and sustainability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Great time management
• Enthusiastic and Friendly
• Ambition to grow within the company

Responsibilities:

• Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
• Provides a welcoming environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfactory
• Opening/closing of the venue
• Working with management to deliver events and tastings
• Escalate customer, HR and health & safety issues and concerns to management
• Report any issues with stock or equipment to management
• Conduct yourself professionally whilst on Mercato property
• Financial responsibilities - reporting discrepancies to management
• Following company procedures and carry out any reasonable request made by management
• Responsible of Health & Safety at work, including COSHH, and following procedure and training
• To attend training sessions and tastings when required
