Sales and Marketing Manager


Description

As a Sales & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the corporate sales and events for Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Fort Lauderdale, fulfilling all client needs from initial inquiry to execution. You will also be responsible for prospecting, developing strong relationships with customers, overseeing guest activations, marketing events, and branded off site events, as well as being the on-site contact for marketing events.

Responsibilities

SALES 

  • Responsible for the organization of private events from a finalized contract through execution. This includes calendaring team, group catering orders, secondary site visits/tastings with client and vendors, detailing BEOs and Event Menus, proactive communication between client, vendors & operations team. 
  • Manage Marketing & Sales Events Calendar on Outlook and Triple Seat. Calendar events must be sent out when an event is made definite.  
  • Facilitate all BEO communication. Maintain communication with chef and managers to inform them of updates and keep correspondence in triple seat. 
  • Attend weekly operations meetings & coordinate effectively with team to ensure all event procedures are being implemented, followed and communicated in preparation for day of event.  
  • Responsible for the execution of every event and must be on site for its entirety.  
  • Manage personal networking calendar on a monthly basis to target new business initiatives 
  • Weekly Reports to be sent out to management and ownership detailing activity for the week, definite, tentative and prospecting events. 
  • Goals will be established and reviewed on a quarterly and annual basis. 

MARKETING 

  • Marketing event responsibilities will include building concierge packages, sourcing & purchasing of special events swag, calendar of marketing events & coordination, coordinating local gyms & workspaces marketing happy hours, coordinating local resident building happy hours, and hotel guest activations.
  • All printed items necessary for events will be executed by the Sales & Marketing Manager. 
  • Responsible for communicating to team any website updates related to events as well as signage needed for venue closed during buyouts.  
  • Managing all guest lists for events and optimizing email address collection.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to promote and amplify all branded events and specials, as well as assist in gathering any necessary assets prior to event to promote on social channels.
  • Act as liaison between operations, brand partner, and marketing team to ensure all deliverables are on site for any offsite event.
  • Responsible for working with Graphic Designer to create any necessary branded collateral for events (menus, drink tickets etc.). 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 3+ years' of sales and marketing experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
