Position Summary

The Beverage Manager leads the beverage offer across BVC Hospitality's brands - coffee, cocktails, wine and soft drinks - setting the standards, recipes and costings that every venue works to. The role is focused predominantly on BVC's brands, NAC, Crème, Le Café NAC, 74 Duke, with more limited involvement at Supernova, and works closely with Procurement on supplier selection and costings. This role balances hands-on quality control with menu development, training and cost management, ensuring every venue delivers a consistent, high-quality drinks experience true to its brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Beverage Development: design, develop and evolve drinks menus - cocktails, wine, coffee and soft drinks - across all venues, tailored to each brand's identity.

  • Standards & Training: set and maintain beverage standards group-wide, and train and support venue teams (Bar Managers, Baristas, Team Members) to deliver them consistently.

  • Supplier & Cost Management: liaise with the Procurement team on supplier selection, pricing and costings, and control beverage costs and margins across the portfolio.

  • Quality Control: conduct regular audits and tastings across venues to ensure consistency and quality of the drinks offer.

  • Compliance: ensure licensing, allergen, and health & safety compliance for beverage service across all venues.

  • Innovation: track drinks trends and lead seasonal menu development and new product launches.

  • Cross-Venue Collaboration: work closely with General Managers, Head Chefs, Procurement and the Operations Directors to align the beverage offer, supplier choices and costings with each venue's wider strategy.

  • Reporting: track beverage sales performance, wastage and stock across venues, reporting into the Group Operations Director.

Key Requirements Experience

Proven experience as a Beverage Manager, Bar Manager, or similar drinks-focused role, ideally gained across multiple sites. Strong working knowledge of coffee, cocktails and wine. WSET qualification desirable.

Personality
A hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a genuine passion for drinks and hospitality, able to influence and train teams across different venues and brands.

Flexibility
Willingness to travel regularly between venues across London, and to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Company Benefits
  • Generous Discounts: 50% discount across all BVC Hospitality venues and CODE app membership.

  • Enhanced holiday packages: one extra day for each year of service (up to 5 days).

  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity Pay.
