As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our family.
POSITION SUMMARY
As Assistant General Manager, you will be a hands-on leader in the daily running of the restaurant, supporting the GM across all departments. You’ll help manage a high-performing team, uphold service standards, and ensure a smooth, efficient, and guest-focused operation—morning to night.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, with a proven background in premium or high-volume hospitality, looking to build a rewarding career with BVC Hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the General Manager in all areas of day-to-day operations
Maintain and enhance service excellence, product quality, and overall guest experience
Lead and motivate FOH teams, ensuring training, development, and accountability
Actively engage with guests, resolving issues promptly and professionally
Oversee rotas, shift planning, and team deployment to ensure optimal coverage
Help manage supplier relationships, stock control, and ordering
Maintain high standards in cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
Collaborate with kitchen and BOH teams for smooth operational flow
Contribute to marketing initiatives, promotions, and events
KEY REQUIREMENTS
2+ years in similar role within a high-volume restaurant
Guest-first mindset with a deep understanding of hospitality excellence
Proven leadership and people management skills, with a natural ability to inspire teams
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities
Detail-oriented with high standards for service, presentation, and team performance
Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments
