Operations Manager

Renowned Chef and Pizzaiolo Mark Iacono of Lucali just opened a new restaurant in Carroll Gardens. The project will be a neighborhood pizzeria serving slices, other menu items, and delicious things to drink. We are looking to fulfill several positions.

The Operations Manager supervises the daily operations of the team members at both Lucali and Baby Luc's. Responsibilities include training, management of food and beverage inventory and pars and being of great support to staff. The Operations Manager implements and maintains a service and management philosophy that assists in exceeding guests expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implements and directs the BOH and FOH team
• Manages the team: hires, assigns, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates as necessary
• Forecasts and analysis of sales, manages a budget and evaluates the effectiveness of systems
• Establishes vendor relationships and maintains professional rapport
• Collaborates with the local teams to plan menu items and pairings
• Communicates with all departments to always be aware of product needs and objectives
• Oversees beverage inventory and monitors shipments, valuation, and margin control
• Creates and manages product listings including roll-outs of new products and phase-outs of current products
• Teaches beverage classes to employees
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
