Renowned Chef and Pizzaiolo Mark Iacono of Lucali just opened a new restaurant in Carroll Gardens. Baby Luc's is a neighborhood pizzeria serving whole pies as well as slices and delicious things to drink.
We are looking for a pizza chef that can manage multiple, simultaneous processes —from dough and ingredient prep to cooking the pizza. A good pizza chef makes excellent pizzas and knows how to teach others to make dough, assemble pizzas and cook them properly.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage others and work on a team
- Understands what makes a good pizza!
- Prepare dough and sauces
- Willing to work a flexible schedule
- Monitor all food waste
- DOH Walk Through & DOH Compliance
- Scheduling
- Hiring/Firing
- Manage Porters/Dishwashers. Adherence to cleaning schedule.
- Walkthrough of Closing List
Ability to work all stations
