We now bring joy and colour to the lives of thousands daily through our beautiful concept stores and award-winning gelato!! We are a fast growing business and entering more exciting markets in 2023 whilst growing our E-commerce and B2B platforms.

What you'll be doing:

The Head of Supply chain will drive our end-to-end supply chain operations across Italy, Spain, Japan, and the UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • As our Head of Supply Chain, you will be managing and overseeing the entirety of the end-to-end supply chain. 
  • Work with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop the supply chain strategy, ensuring this aligns with the overall business plan, both annual and longer term
  • Develop the international supply chain plan to help the business scale in multiple international markets
  • Continuously review and improve the supply chain strategy 
  • You will be continuously building and optimising the supply chain in its efficiency, cost and reliability
  • Propose options and recommend an overall supply chain strategy, in line with the growth strategy of the business.
  • Develop and maintain robust processes, procedures, and systems for the effective and efficient delivery of Supply Chain activities.
  • Managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, production, logistics, and customer service.
  • Delivering against and reporting on top level key performance indicators e.g. On-Time Delivery, Inventory turnover, order accuracy, etc.
  • To conduct root cause analysis on the present supply chain and forecast the future supply chain to identify and remove bottlenecks and set out the necessary contingency plans and risk mitigation methods in response to points of risk.
  • Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
  • To lead, motivate and develop a high performing production and fulfilment team to hit deadlines and exceed targets, to the required standards and within budget according to business requirements.
  • To effectively manage and meet budgetary requirements. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs across all areas of the operational process.
  • Line management and coaching of Logistics Area Manager 
  • Other supply chain or operations related tasks as needed.
  • Travel between UK, Italy and Spain as and when required is a MUST

Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience in supply chain; demand planning, procurement, warehousing, fulfilment, returns, recalls and other supply chain related activities.
  • Previous experience in operational line management in a food manufacturing or a direct-to-consumer business
  • A ‘hands on’ startup mindset 
  • strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and multicultural environment.
  • Italian/Spanish/English speaking is a requirement for the role
  • Requirement for experience with supply chain software and ERP systems.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
