Badiani is an Italian brand with Gelateria's in the UK, Italy and Spain! We were founded in 1932 and entered the UK market in 2016. We now bring joy and colour to the lives of thousands daily through our beautiful concept stores and award-winning gelato!! We are a fast growing business and entering more exciting markets in 2023 whilst growing our E-commerce and B2B platforms. We now have outlets across London and a Gelato Lab in order to share our amazing products with a wider customer base.
What you will be doing:
During the peak summer periods we produce around 1100 trays of gelato and 4400 litres pasteurized a week. You will be working within a team and be responsible for production of all Gelato.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for creating Gelato within a team
Responsible for ensuring high standards are maintained at all times, and supporting the maintenance of all health and safety guidelines and regulations for the kitchen and food hygiene
Responsible for your own workstation and ensuring high standards are met
Working within cold environments due to the nature of the product
Handling heavy food items up to 25KG
Effective communication across all areas of production
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have some experience working within hospitality and handling food
Passion for creating and delivering a luxury product
Able to work fully flexible hours
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Team player
English speaking ( Italian would be a plus)
