What you'll do

As Bar Waiter, you'll love what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests:

  • Welcome guests, take their orders, and serve drinks and food in a friendly and timely way.
  • Possess and develop a working knowledge of the drinks and food menus, so you can assist the team and respond to guest inquiries when required.
  • Respond flexibly to guest special requests, and support the team with a calm, solutions-focused attitude when service demands shift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and pantry throughout the day, ensuring workspaces are safe, hygienic, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with bartenders and become an essential link in delivering the elegant and dynamic energy that defines Bar 45.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, especially in maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation.
  • A proactive and dependable approach - you are always ready to support the team without needing to be asked.
  • Positive attitude, eager to learn new skills in a busy and dynamic setting.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in food and beverage environments.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Comfortable communicating in English with guests and colleagues.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or luxury hospitality support role.
  • Familiarity with basic bar tools, equipment, and beverage stock rotation.
  • Ability to carry drinks and plates safely and confidently.
  • A passion for mixology, bar culture, or the desire to develop into a bartender role.
  • Knowledge of five-star service environments and guest expectations.
