Role Summary

As a Mixologist at Bar Sardine you will craft exceptional, hand-crafted beverages while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Whether serving drinks at the bar or for table service, your role will be to create a welcoming, personalized and memorable experience for every guest. You will anticipate guest needs and ensure they leave feeling valued and delighted. Our goal is to exceed expectations while making everyone feel comfortable, important and relaxed.

Responsibilities

  •  Provide exceptional hospitality and professionalism to guests and team members
  • Master a comprehensive knowledge of the beverage menu, including craft cocktails, wine, beer and dietary considerations
  • Follow all steps of service, ensuring accurate and timely beverage preparation
  • Engage with guests to offer drink recommendations and develop relationships that create memorable experiences
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in every order, maintaining high standards for guest expectations
  • Execute opening and closing procedures for the bar station efficiently
  •  Collaborate with Sommeliers, Managers and Servers to ensure seamless service

  • Resolve guest complaints or special requests with professionalism and hospitality
  • Attend regular training on Food, Wine and Bartending techniques

 Adhere to proper alcohol service requirements as per State and Local regulations

Qualifications

  •  2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining setting
  •  Strong passion and knowledge of craft cocktails, beer and wine
  •  Knowledge of food pairings
  •  Detail oriented with excellent communication skills
Team player with punctuality, reliability and a strong sense of urgency

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor
  •  Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and easily maneuver bar equipment
  • Certified for food and alcohol service as per State and Local regulations
