We are looking for a shift lead to run our Bar Goa kitchen at Time Out Market

Job Details
Position Summary:

The Supervisor/Shift Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services. He/she is responsible for the various tasks involved in the overall operation of the restaurant including opening and closing the restaurant, maximizing sales/profitability by developing staff, and all aspects of service delivery and guest satisfaction.  

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly, professional environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development.
  • Resolve any guest issues
  • Very good at interacting with guests as cashier
  • Can also prepare and plate food consistently - we have a small menu of 5-7 items. 
  • In charge of scheduling the staff
  • Making sure we have the proper prep and food in stock
  • Follow all health and safety standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead people, communication results, and motivate
  • Planning: Ability to perform short and long range planning in terms of scheduling and making sure we have proper food inventory
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Some kitchen experience
  • ServeSafe required
  • Quality orientation
  • Computer proficiency
