We seek a professional, attentive, and composed Door Lead to join our team at Bar Moon in Post Oak—an immersive cocktail destination where every detail, from design to service, is crafted to inspire elegance, intrigue, and indulgence.
Bar Moon is the newest addition to The Bastion Collection, a global leader in fine dining and luxury hospitality with a portfolio distinguished by 10 Michelin Stars and 3 Michelin Keys since 2019.

The Door Lead is the first and last impression of Bar Moon, embodying both hospitality and security. This role requires a confident presence, poise under pressure, and the ability to balance warm guest engagement with vigilant awareness. The Door Lead manages the guest arrival sequence, ensures safety and order at the entrance, and supports the Host team to deliver a seamless, polished entry experience that reflects the refinement of our environment.

Your Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to every guest upon arrival.
• Coordinate with the Host team to confirm reservations and manage guest entry flow.
• Maintain an unobtrusive but active awareness of guest movement, access control, and overall entry security.
• Support and enforce guest safety procedures in alignment with Bastion Hospitality standards.
• Communicate promptly with FOH and Management regarding guest issues, crowd flow, or incidents requiring attention.
• Escort guests to designated areas when appropriate, ensuring comfort and efficiency.
• Maintain an immaculate, organized, and presentable entrance at all times.
• Offer courteous farewells that leave a lasting, positive impression.

Your Qualifications:
• 1–2 years of experience in a door, host, or guest-facing position within luxury hospitality, nightlife, or fine dining environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, confident demeanor.
• Proven ability to remain calm, professional, and discreet in high-volume or sensitive situations.
• Strong observational skills and understanding of guest safety and access management.
• Professional presentation and attention to grooming.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
