Description
Barlume Beach Montauk is looking for a housekeeper who maintains
cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings. Key
responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning
bathrooms, changing linens, and managing inventory of supplies. They must
ensure a safe, organized environment, often handling laundry, trash removal,
and special cleaning tasks efficiently.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Cleaning rooms, kitchens, and restrooms; vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, polishing, and disinfecting surfaces.
· Making beds, changing bed linens, replacing towels, and restocking toiletries.
· Emptying trash, reporting repair needs, following safety procedures, and using cleaning chemicals properly.
· Organizing closets, cleaning under/behind furniture, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
QUALIFICATIONS (Select all that Apply):
· Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and move furniture for extended periods (often 35+ lbs).
· High standards for cleanliness and organization.
· Trustworthiness with keys, alarms, and private household information.
· Ability to finish all cleaning tasks within a set time frame.
· Ability to finish all cleaning tasks within a set time frame.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in hospitality or residential cleaning is often preferred.
