Description

We are looking for a driven, talented Head of Food & Beverage at The Barnsdale, who will have an influential leadership role in driving the F&B team to deliver an exceptional dining experience. 

Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.

We are looking to build our following further by continuing to dedicate ourselves to the quality of our fresh and local food, our impressive standard of service which we work tirelessly to maintain, and of course our talented team who strive to create both an enjoyable working environment and a perfect guest experience.

You will be: 

  • An inspirational leader, with 4 years' of relevant management experience from a premium F&B outlet. 
  • Able to motivate a team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Approachable and passionate with an enthusiastic, positive manner.
  • Responsible for line managing the F&B Managers and Supervisors on the day to day. 
  • Able to lead F&B management meetings and briefings, plan ahead and create effective marketing strategies.
  • Ensure company standards are consistently delivered and HODs deliver the relevant training to our team members
  • Recruit, and develop your Food and Beverage team, in partnership with our Group L&D Manager. 
  • Support the General Manager by being accountable for departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and SOPs
