The Barons Eden Marketing Team are currently seeking an experienced Middleweight Creative to join our friendly, creative and growing department whilst our current Middleweight Creative is on Maternity Leave. Working in-house for our luxury hotel and spa collection, the Middleweight Creative will report to our Senior Creative and produce a wealth of printed and digital material to improve the guest experience, drive conversions, improve retention and promote brand awareness. The Middleweight Creative should be armed with creative flair and bursting with ideas, whilst also having the honed skills and technical ability to bring them to life. Becoming part of a close-knit and supportive team in a progressive and expanding company, this role is for an experienced, flexible and positive individual, who can not only work effectively on their own but also as key part of the business, showcasing all the personality, history and facilities our historic properties have to offer.

Main duties and responsibilities:

 - Keep up to date with design trends and competitor outputs

- Design on-site printed material to improve the guest journey/experience

- Design digital assets for our social media, website, mailers and digital adverts

- Work effectively with the Senior Creative to create/rollout seasonal campaigns

- Work alongside the Senior Creative to carry out photoshoots, styling and pre-production planning

- Assist in other areas of the Marketing Team to ensure deadlines, strategies and goals are achieved

- Liaise with our Marketing Executives to ensure project timelines, brief requirements and site expectations are managed and met

- Generate fresh creative solutions to improve the current output from the Marketing Team

- Assist the Senior Creative to ensure stakeholder visions are brought to life, briefs/projects are completed on time and the successful evolution and rollout of the brand

Desirable experience and qualities:

 - A minimum of 3+ years graphic design experience, preferably in a creative agency environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite – particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

- Experienced in both printed and digital design, including artworking, gif creation and file formats

- A strong creative flair, whilst also being able to execute your ideas effectively

- Honed layout and typographic skills

- A firm understanding of designing for sales versus brand awareness/the customer journey

- A history of working with luxury or wellness-based brands

Professional skill set:

* Effective at time management and juggling multiple projects
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

* Meticulous attention to detail
