The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and data-driven Website Trading Manager to lead the performance and optimisation of our digital platforms. This is a key role focused on driving website sales, improving the user journey, and identifying new digital revenue opportunities.

From managing day-to-day website performance and content to leading conversion optimisation strategies and analysing booking trends, you’ll be at the forefront of our online commercial growth. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across Marketing, Revenue, and IT, as well as external partners, to create seamless and effective digital guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive website sales performance, focusing on traffic, AOV, and conversion rates.

  • Lead Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) efforts, including A/B testing and collaboration with UX and design teams.
  • Update and manage website content to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and user engagement.
  • Work with the development team to implement new features and ensure website stability, speed, and UX excellence.
  • Collaborate on pricing, inventory, and forecasting strategy to maximise online revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to the Property Management System (PMS), including ResortSuite.
  • Provide clear and regular performance reporting on key digital sales metrics.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and stay ahead of emerging digital trends.
  • Support the execution of automated email marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and close performance gaps to meet departmental targets.

About You

  • Proven experience in website trading or eCommerce, preferably in hospitality, retail, or travel.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
  • Experience implementing CRO strategies and working with A/B testing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics or similar.
  • Confident managing CMS platforms and collaborating with development teams.
  • Effective problem-solver with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach to cross-functional working.
  • Experience with ResortSuite or equivalent systems is essential.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Get in Return

  • Competitive salary package
  • Discounted spa days, overnight stays, and treatments across all properties
  • 20% off spa products
  • Complimentary spa day on your work anniversary
  • Professional development support and career growth opportunities
  • Employee Assistant Programme
  • 25 days plus bank holidays annual leave
  • Free on-site parking
  • A welcoming, people-focused environment where your ideas are valued

Further Information

  • This role requires flexibility and may involve some evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 7-day operation for troubleshooting issues

We choose our people like we treat our guests—with care and purpose.
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking hospitality business, we’d love to welcome you to the Barons Eden family.
