Chef de Partie – Bath Brew House About Us

At Bath Brew House, we’re a beer-led, high-energy pub with a passion for great food, great brewing and genuine hospitality. Our kitchen sits at the heart of the experience, working closely with our on-site brewery to create dishes that are bold, seasonal and full of flavour.

The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section, delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and pride. You’ll work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to ensure smooth service, strong prep standards and a kitchen that runs efficiently even during our busiest shifts.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, perfect for someone who’s ready to step up, take responsibility and develop their skills in a supportive but ambitious kitchen.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for your section during prep and service
  • Deliver dishes to spec, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
  • Support with daily prep and mise en place
  • Assist with stock rotation, labelling and wastage control
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Support junior chefs and help maintain a positive kitchen culture
  • Ensure all dishes reflect our focus on fresh, seasonal and beer-led food

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality
  • Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Good understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
  • Interest in seasonal menus and working with beer as an ingredient (a big plus)
