Description

You will provide essential support within our accounts receivable area of the finance department.  The Accounts Receivable will be overseeing our guest ledger and accounts receivable ledger for three entities. You will also be involved in checking the accuracy of charging for events, against the event orders – issuing final invoices and following up on late payments. 

Based at the Estate, the Accounts Receivable will be part of a small but friendly team of finance professionals and will have previous experience in end-to-end the Accounts Receivable function for multiple entities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Checking the AR ledger, ensuring that receipts are posted and allocated in a timely manner.
  • Reconciling daily receipts against daily reports and investigate/track differences.
  • Producing month end reconciliations of the guest ledger, AR ledger, gifted, RevSpa and the bank clearing account.
  • Ensuring that event deposits are received on time, in accordance with the contract and following up on any late payments.
  • Maintain the Sage cash book by processing all bank transactions.

Who you are:

  • Experienced in accounts receivable or finance, ideally within hospitality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems like Sage, Opera, Micros and Simphony.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with tenacious with attention to detail.
  • Confident in dealing with people with excellent communication skills. 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30.

Salary: Up to £30,000 plus tronc
