Description

Ensconced in the Surrey Hills, Sir Frank's Bar is a grade II listed, art deco jewel with its walls adorned with original artworks by the celebrated botanist Marianne North, and its windows framing sweeping views across the estate and beyond. This is no ordinary bar. Sir Frank's is the beating heart of Beaverbrook, a place where guests gather for every occasion, from celebratory cocktails to quiet evening nightcaps, and everything in between.

We are searching for a Bar Manager with genuine ambition, someone who sees Sir Frank's not simply as a bar within a hotel, but as a destination in its own right. Our goal is to take this bar to the next level, and we need the right person to lead that journey.

The ideal candidate is a natural host with real presence behind the bar, equally comfortable inspiring a team as they are creating a guest's favourite drink. You will bring creativity, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for exceptional hospitality. Working closely with our marketing teams, you will help shape the story of Sir Frank's, driving awareness, footfall, and a reputation that extends well beyond the estate. Behind the scenes, you will be across the detail: stock control, P&L, LQA standards, and the immaculate standards that Beaverbrook is known for.

If you are a Bar Manager ready for a role you can truly make your own, in a setting you will take pride in every single day, this is your opportunity.

Who you are:

  • Proven bar management experience within a luxury or high-end environment, ideally within a hotel setting
  • A natural host with real presence, who leads from the front
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Immaculately presented
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest service
  • A creative flair for crafting unique, high-quality drinks and seasonal menus
  • A strong understanding of LQA standards
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading daily operations from the front and setting the tone for the team
  • Driving Sir Frank's positioning as a true destination bar
  • Designing and launching seasonal menus that reflect the essence of Beaverbrook
  • Collaborating with marketing and other departments to drive sales and visibility
  • Controlling departmental budgets and managing P&L
  • Nurturing and developing a talented team
  • Ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience

Salary: Competitive

Shift Pattern

  • The suitable candidate must be available to work 45 hours per week any 5 days out of 7
  • Evening and weekend availability is essential
