At Beaverbrook, we believe exceptional guest experiences begin with exceptional people. We're looking for a passionate and innovative Training & Engagement Manager to lead our learning, development and employee engagement agenda across the Estate.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning and development professional who thrives on creating meaningful employee experiences, delivering engaging training programmes and building a culture where people can grow, develop and perform at their very best.

Working closely with the HR Director and departmental leaders, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering our learning strategy, enhancing employee engagement initiatives and ensuring our teams have the skills, confidence and support to deliver the outstanding service standards synonymous with the Beaverbrook brand. The role also includes management of our Training & Engagement Advisor.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading Beaverbrook's learning, development and engagement strategy.
  • Designing and delivering engaging leadership, management and service excellence programmes.
  • Managing our company induction experience and wider learning journey.
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes and wellbeing activities.
  • Overseeing apprenticeships and early careers development opportunities.
  • Acting as the lead for our Learning Management System (MapalOne).
  • Analysing training and engagement data to identify opportunities and measure impact.
  • Building strong relationships with managers to support development planning across departments.
  • Coaching and developing the Training & Engagement Advisor.
  • Championing a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and exceptional guest service.
Who you are:

You'll be a confident trainer, facilitator and relationship-builder who loves helping people succeed.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development or Employee Engagement.
  • Previous experience designing and delivering training programmes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive and creative approach to employee engagement.
  • Experience using learning management systems and producing meaningful reports.
  • A genuine passion for developing people and enhancing workplace culture.
Hospitality experience would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates who share our commitment to exceptional service and people development


Shift Pattern:

  • 32 hours per week 
  • 4 days our of 7
