Applicants for this role will ideally have experience working in a private estate garden or hold a horticultural qualification (NVQ or similar) or both. We also believe in providing professional development opportunities to employees in the early stages of their career who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.

Candidates will have experience with general garden maintenance including mowing, weeding, strimming and hedge cutting. In addition, candidates will have good practical skills, be hands-on, and have reasonable plant knowledge.

Beaverbrook promotes a friendly and rewarding working environment, so it is important that candidates have a positive attitude, with good communication skills and are happy to work outside in all weather conditions. Please note some of the tasks are physically demanding. 

Shift Pattern

  • 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. 
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible in working 1 in 8 weekends. 
  • The typical Summer shift pattern for this position will consist of 7:00am - 3:30pm. 
  • The typical Winter shift pattern for this position will consist of 8:00am - 4:30pm. 

Salary: £26,416 per annum dependent upon skills and experience. 

Applicants will ideally have a full manual driving license and own transport.
