We're looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Goods In Operative to join our Distribution team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of St Austell Brewery’s busy site operation, playing a key role in ensuring stock is received, stored and despatched accurately while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Working as part of our Goods In team, you'll be responsible for unloading deliveries, checking stock, operating material handling equipment and preparing orders for dispatch. Every day is different, and you'll work closely with colleagues to ensure our customers receive the right products at the right time.

What You'll Be Doing
· Receiving and unloading deliveries safely using the appropriate material handling equipment (MHE).
· Checking incoming stock against purchase orders and supplier delivery notes, ensuring quantities, dates and product details are accurate.
· Maintaining accurate stock rotation to support efficient picking.
· Carrying out manual handling activities.
· Picking customer, national sales and export orders using pick lists, ensuring the correct products, quantities and dates are selected for dispatch.
· Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks with grab attachment safely and efficiently.
· Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping, including operating industrial cleaning equipment and supporting recycling activities.
· Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain stock accuracy and support the smooth operation of the warehouse.
What We're Looking For
· Previous experience operating Counterbalance trucks with grab attachment.
· Previous warehouse experience, ideally within an FMCG, logistics or bonded warehouse environment.
· Experience of manual handling and working safely within a warehouse environment.
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately check and record stock.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
· A strong commitment to health & safety and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
· A reliable, flexible approach and a strong work ethic.
