Bel & The Dragon, Cookham
General Manager vacancy
Up to £60,000 plus bonus and great benefits

Join Fuller’s: Where the true you thrives and diversity is embraced. At Fuller’s we don't just offer jobs, we invite you to celebrate your authentic self. Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.

This is a truly special role, being the key figure in one of the country's oldest coaching inns. This is a heavily food focused restaurant business, needing someone with sound food & wine knowledge.

On site there is a strong team with newly appointed Head Chef and two Deputy Managers supporting you front of house.

Sales peak in the winter but remain strong throughout the summer with its large outdoor terrace. The split is in favour of food, 60/40, with it's 10 beautiful bedrooms equating to 10-20% of overall revenue; the hotel is proving especially popular since its investment.

Cookham is an affluent area with the leader of the business needing to play a role within the community, and developing relationships will be key to its continued success. A natural host and floor first mentality is a key attribute for the applicant to have.

This is a live-out position.

 What we can offer you:

  • Our General Manager contracts are 40 hour a week over 5 days, business needs can influence this but we never "celebrate" working too many hours!!
