Sous Chef - Berenjak

Inspired by Chef Kian’s childhood spent gathering around the dining table with his Iranian family and his fond memories from travels around Tehran, Berenjak reinterprets the classic hole in the wall kebab houses lining the streets of Tehran. Set to open in Soho in October 2018, and part of the critically-acclaimed JKS Restaurants, Berenjak is under same umbrella as Gymkhana, Trishna, Brigadiers, Hoppers, Lyle’s, Bubbledogs, Kitchen Table, Bao, Xu, Sabor and Motu.

The Venue:

Berenjak accommodates 40 covers over one floor, rustic and lively, bringing to life Iranian history and culture. We are looking for passionate, fun & enthusiastic team members to embody this culture and re-create Kian’s homely, family-oriented memories for guests. Join the family!

Job Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, creating rustic but modern dishes and delivering an all-encapsulating Iranian experience to our guests. You’ll have experience overseeing your own section in a high-volume restaurant and adhering to standard operating and Health and Safety procedures.

Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef and knowledge of Persian cuisine is preferred but not essential, more importantly we are looking for people for as passionate about food and hospitality as we are!

The successful Sous Chef will receive:
