The Team

Working within a highly luxurious four-star property means that every guest area and facility must be kept in impeccable working order and to the highest standards of presentation.  The maintenance team provide exceptional responsive and improvement services to ensure that everything exceeds our guests’ expectations.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional to lead our Maintenance Team with general property and spa maintenance. You will be responsible for a small team including a Maintenance Assistant, Gardeners & Painter/Decorator.

With no two days the same and in a business that’s open 24-7, you will have the self-motivation to thrive in a demanding environment and manage an ever-changing list of priorities.

As the Health & Safety representative for the property, you will be responsible for regular checks within the Hotel including weekly fire alarm tests and regular fire drills, as well as ensuring the hotel is safe, functional and meets 4 red star standards.

You will be available to work Monday – Friday (40 hours) plus able to provide on-call support.

About You

• Firstly you will be a proactive problem solver with a wide range of property maintenance skills.
• You will have exceptional project management skills with the ability to facilitate, coordinate and prioritise multiple maintenance projects.
• You will have a hands-on style of management.
• You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ideally you’ll have electrical, plumbing and plant room experience together with a relevant qualification.
• You’ll have experience of balancing a preventative maintenance program with reactive maintenance.
• An eye for detail to ensure maintenance is carried out to the highest standard.
• Awareness of H&S and COSHH in relation to property maintenance and water management.
