The Team

The successful candidate will be joining our Conference & Events team at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa to provide an exceptional experience for guests hosting and attending a variety of events. The Position

As part of the Conference & Events waiting team you will join a friendly, flexible and customer-focused team, catering a wide variety of events and celebrations held at Bedford Lodge Hotel.

You will play a key part in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service, whether their event be for business or pleasure.

A week working in the Conference and Events Department will vary, you will be trained to look after corporate conferences, ensuring their day meets an important schedule, as well as fulfilling a couple’s dreams, waiting on their wedding day until the party is over.

With no two days the same, you will have the self-motivation to thrive in a demanding environment working alongside your peers.

Experience is not a must as training will be provided, however it is preferred for this position.

This is a zero-hour contracted role and you will be offered shifts that meet the requirements of the department.

About You

• You must have excellent customer care and communication skills
• You must have flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends
• You must be organised, timely and pro-active
• You are neat and well-presented
• You are physical fit and able to meet the demands of the role
• You have a desire to work in a professional, guest focused environment
• Ideally you have experience in waiting and/or bar work, however you will be given training as needed.
