HR and Reward Advisor

Salary: Up to £42k (depending on experience) plus car allowance

Location: Field based  - will be required to be in London City centre Head Office once a week.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR and Reward Advisor to join The Big Table group, one of the leading independent restaurant companies in the UK. The Big Table operates some of the most recognisable and loved restaurant brands to be found anywhere in the eating-out market, such as Bella Italia, Café Rouge, and Las Iguanas. This is a very exciting time to join our progressive, fast-growing business with huge investment into refurbs, new site openings and several new developments in the pipeline.

The HR and Reward Advisor will be the first point of contact for all people-related queries and support the business by coaching, coordinating and advising the front-line team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a champion of the People Strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support the Operations & Restaurant teams with the end-to-end process of all Employee Relations activities e.g., grievances, investigations, disciplinary, appeals and capability.
  • Work with line managers and  the Brand HR team to improve all people metrics – turnover, engagement and absence.
  • Provide information to employees on all Group benefits & resolve reward and benefits related queries.
  • Support the Head of HR on any relevant pay benchmarking exercises as required and maintain the relationship for any pay benchmarking companies.

 Qualifications/Experience:

  • Competent user of Microsoft office programs, in particular, Excel , Word & PowerPoint to Intermediate Level
  • HR Systems experience, experience of using Fourth Hospitality would be beneficial
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic Rewards and Benefits provided in UK
  • Experience of working in a generalist HR/People Team role
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and questioning skills
