Bistrotheque opened 17 years ago and was inspired by the humble French Bistro. We are located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. Over time, we’ve built a loyal following of stylish East Londoners who appreciate quality and consistency. The team is small and friendly and we believe in mutual respect.
We looking for a CDP who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen. Our aim would be to train you to work all sections in the kitchen one by one.
35-40 hours per week, never more than 48 hours
Shifts will be Wednesday or Thursday to Sunday
Stable rota patterns by month
At least 2 consecutive days off
6 weeks holiday, 4 of which are to be taken in August each year
E2 9DR. We are very close to Cambridge Heath Overground and a short walk to Bethnal Green Underground.
£10.50 per hour house pay plus generous tronc.
We expect this role to earn at least £13.50 per hour overall once tronc criteria is met.
At least 1 year's experience in a quailty/volume kitchen at commis chef level or above. A passion for cooking & ingredients, as well as fast-paced kitchens, are musts. Consistency and attention to detail are your trademarks. We are drawn to those keen to learn and progress, whilst also being team players and able to work within a framework. If you don't have it already, we will organise a Level 3 Food Hygiene course and exam within 3 months of starting.
